Update on Saleems status since his abrupt transfer from SCI-Coal Township to SCI-Houzdale; About a week after his transfer from SCI-Houzdale Saleem was transferred to SCI-Greene, a more restrictive prison, in retaliation for exercising his First Amendment rights. While he remains in solitary confinement, it is unclear if SCI-Greene intends to release him to the general population or not. Saleems legal counsel is monitoring the situation and is in regular communication with him regarding public advocacy and legal responses to his changed circumstances. Friends and supporters are not being asked to take any advocacy actions at this time, but this may change. Thank you for your continued support.
