Update on Southern Charmers Animal Rescue Meet BUDDY, he was the dog we tried so hard to find a home or foster for, no one came thru to save him from going to the pound. We met the disabled woman today at the spay neuter clinic as she paid to have him neutered before coming to rescue. HE IS HEARTWORM POSITIVE AND VERY VERY THIN. He is just the sweetest black lab youd ever want to meet, gets along with cats dogs big or small!! Buddy is very laid back as he was a outside dog laying under the trailer all day. He has been inside for two weeks now at his previous owners and did great housebreaking and lets you know when he wants out. : ) We will be starting Buddy on the doxycycline and ivermectin, before putting him thru the Heartworm Treatment!!! Please anyone with time to give we have 9 adoptable dogs now that would love to get loved on and brushed. Please call 334-718-4227 and let me know you would like to volunteer your time to them.
