Update on bear #178: Thank you to everybody for keeping him in your thoughts this afternoon, and for your ongoing support for the bears. With Kongs vet team already primed and onsite, #178 had the best possible chance of survival and they were able to start working on him immediately. Sadly, after giving everything they could for over an hour, he couldnt be saved. Every arrival is given a number before they are named. Some of you may wonder if #178 counts, since he was only with us for a few final hours. In the words of vet Heather Bacon, who fought with the team for over an hour to save him They all count.
