Update on my Dad.. At the age of 94 and a half, my Dad never ceases to amaze me. One week ago he was sent to the hospital with congestive heart failure and on Tuesday he had a heart attack and was coughing up blood. When the kids and I went to visit, I was bracing myself that it might be our last one. My Dad was in such good spirits and the visit was full of laughter. The hospital had been hiding his teeth so that he did not try and go home in the night and when he talked about trying to escape from his feeding chair, the kids and are were in stitches. He is now up and about walking around his room and down the hall and is not longer on oxygen. They think he might be going home tomorrow or Tuesday. I am convinced that his sense of humour and stubbornness have kept him going this long and possibly for quite awhile longer. I am so very grateful for the love and support that has been shown to me this week. Prayers and positive thoughts make a huge difference and I am sending love to all of you for taking the time to help my family xo
