Update on my dear Mama.....I came down a week ago to help interview some agencies to provide some aide for Papa and Mama, to allow them to remain in their home. Mama was diagnosed with full blown Parkinsons Disease about 6 weeks ago. This last year was very hard on her, what with her falls and compound fracture, and surgery. Papa has been her sole caretaker since she got out of rehab the last time in October. She is dependent on a walker and wheelchair now. She is very weak and doesnt have an appetite any more. Have tried to convince them to move north, so we can help, but no luck with that idea, as of yet. Please keep them in your thoughts, as they struggle through this phase of their life. Love to all 😘
