Update on testing today. .. The testing started with requiring Shane to complete a sequence of three green blocks from a choice of four different colored shapes. Shane didnt complete of course. The doctor frowned. The second test was showing Shane a red block and having him choose a match out of the same four different colored shapes. Shane didnt respond. The doctor frowned. The third test was the same with a blue triangle. I asked the doctor if I could hold it in my hand. I asked Shane to touch the blue triangle. Shane reached out and touched the one in my hand. I had to giggle. (He did what I asked.) I told Shane to touch the other one. He moved his fist and placed it in front of but not touching the right shape. The doctor frowned. Finally the doctor decided he would call Shanes DHS worker and speak to her personally. While he was on the phone, I turned Shane around and laid him down with his head in my lap. Shane kept turning around to see the doctor on the phone. Then he looked at me and started trying to talk. I swear Shane said Hes dumb. Lets go mom. It may have just been my imagination but I about choked trying not to laugh. So.. we will get results in two weeks...
