Update on the Dude: Richard couldnt just let him go without additional tests. We brought him home while we waited for results and during that time, I continued to force water and food as tolerated. Well he started eating and drinking on his own and regained some of his Dude-ness back. When I spoke to the Dr yesterday, he confirmed that the Dude likely has cancer and we could do more tests, surgery and possibly chemo. We decided that we could not put him through all that and as long as he is comfortable, he can stay at home until it is time. He is on steroids right now for treatment and the first signs of getting sick again, we will take him in. Richard and I thank everyone for their kind thoughts. So for now, I am spoiling him with chicken baby food and lots of snuggles. He has been a lot of fun and so full of love and appreciation the last two years of his life. I am just so happy that we had the opportunity to share that time with him. Thanks again everyone
