Update on the job front- I put in my resume with Aerojet Rocketdyne yesterday thanks to my old sergeant, I applied with Rainier Connect earlier in the week and have cooresponded with their recruitment team the last two days thanks to another job lead from a friend I game with- hows that for networking?!? :) (Both the former sergeant and my gamer friend shall remain nameless- I dont want everyone asking them for references or for a job hook-up just from seeing something on my facebook feed or put them in the ruff spot of feeling obligated to submit a referral for someone they would rather not just because they did it for me. If they offer you a referall on their own, thats fine. I just dont want to put them in a rough spot.) I checked my email this morning to find out have been contacted in regards to positions at New York Life and Waddell & Reed. 5 out of 12 companies I applied with have gotten back to me and two have given me a phone interview. Still applying at places too. Now I just have to hope one of these pans out...
