Update on the kid found lying in garbage. Well, you can call her Anshu now. Yes, she has a name now. Firstly, I would like to thank all the people for helping me to find a better and deserving place for Anshu and also apologize for not giving away the kid to the lovely people who wanted to adopt her. Im sorry, I had to accept the fact that Im nobody to give her away. I had to go legal about this. When I was reading the comments, I was really happy to see people blessing the kid and me as well. I really thank everyone but something inside me is telling the truth. It goes like this. People called you a true Indian, a hero and few called you god because you did something good. Somebody called up media and they made a mess out of it(my only intention was to show the babys face to a wider range of audience so that it would help her). All this while, I was just thinking how many of you would have taken this step if you were in my place. How many of you can postpone all your work for 2-3 days to help somebody else? or How many of you would really care to help an old man trying to cross the road while you are on your way to work? If there are people who can say yes to the above questions, Ill be the happiest person around. The point to be noted is everybodys answer is ahh. Somebody help that poor kid. The point is, be that somebody. When I was standing there with the kid, few people asked me whats happening, few felt sad, somebody said im running late but a middle-aged couple helped me. Ill tell you the worst part. This is not the first time. The same incident happened to me when I was in 8th standard. I called people around to help that poor kid. Whys this happening? Instead of laws, traffic rules and shit, people should be educated about morals, humanity and how that keeps them happy. Well, if this act of kindness can bring the change in at least one of you, trust me, that adds more meaning your life. Anshus at Shishu Vihaar, Ameerpet now and shes doing great. I met the her yesterday, gifted her a new dress and clicked pictures. Heres a recent picture of Anshu. If somebody wants to meet or help the kid, you can visit Shishu Vihaar on Sunday in the evening hours. Cheers. God bless everyone!
