Update on the little joey that my daughter looked after on Sat. We did not get to name this little man but this little man is one lucky little joey, without Jessica doing what she did for him he would of died by the time I got home. As he was what we call a pinkie if he did not get warmed up his organs would of shut down and he would of died. His ankle and foot is ok the swelling is from soft tissue damage but he does have a broken toe. So I would like to take this opportunity to publicly say thank you to my daughter as she does a fantastic job of supporting and helping me when it comes to wildlife she has under my guidance sometimes over the phone saved many joeys and as though it goes in noticed in public it does not go unnoticed by me. So Jessica you should be very proud of yourself as I am extremely proud of you for what you do for these babies. You are a natural at this and I hope you continue to save our wildlife in the future. I know we cant save them all but we can save some. Well done Jessica :-) xx And Im not sure if you all remember a little swamp wallaby joey I had for a few months recently named Oscar But I was told the other day that he has sadly passed away as his bowel bursted they done an autopsy to find out why he passed away. These are the times I hate as I feel Ive failed in some way.. we are not sure why this happened. But my little friend RIP mate you were a little treasure to have in care ;-( .....,RIP Oscar.....
