Update on this mornings rescue Red Bay Lifeboat was launched shortly after 1am this morning to go to the aid of a boat with 5 persons on board off North Antrim Coast. Three of the people had already been rescued this evening by Stranraer RNLI Lifeboat off Corsewall Point after they set off from Ballycastle on a Jet Ski to go to Campbeltown and got lost, ending up in Stranraer over 30 miles away. The were then been towed back to Ballycastle this evening by another vessel when it developed engine trouble 2 miles east of Cushendun. Red Bay Lifeboat was launched at 01.17 and towed the vessel to Cushendall. 2 off the men from the JetSki were suffering effect of the cold from their ordeal.
