Update..phone(s) are now in hand, and my dream of not having another 2 year contract is in shambles. I was good to go until the wife mentioned the benefits of getting her new phone, and of course she would only get a free model (her sales pitch). So, she got the LG G2 and I got the Samsung S4. They are pretty much identical in almost every way. We got them at Best Buy, which amazes me as I typically hate that place. For better phones than what Verizon carried in store, we got 2 special edition phones at a cost of -free- for Jas, and $49 for me...and otter boxes for both. Add the $30 to re-key the new phones + tax and we paid $120. That is how much just Jasmines phone wouldve cost at Verizon. Mine wouldve been $149, and the Otters almost another 100. We saved $350. Further, we went to Verizon to have the numbers switched over to the new phones (long story)....and we walked out with 2 new samsung 2 tablets that are 4g (and on our phone plan) and $25 less/ month. We also can use our cells as wi/fi hotspots should we need to at no addition charge. So...new phones, new tablets, and less money/ month...I win. Now if I could only stop the satellites from tracking me....
