Updated Saturday session info for the #2014MWFF!! Saturday (8/2/2014) will start at 10:30am with our 4 feature films. At 6:30pm the doors will open for our Regional Films Session. Those films will start screening at 7pm. For more detailed info please go to: mosaicfilmfest/attend/ A Saturday ticket is $5 and gets you into both sessions held on Saturday. Tickets will be available for sale at the door all day starting at 10:30 am. $10 VIP tickets are available for pre-sale at: brownpapertickets/event/750461 and will get you into every session of the 2014 MWFF, including our opening Friday night screening event. - - - Feature Films - Saturday Session #1 (11am - 4pm, doors open at 10:30am) The End Of The Earth Is My Home (Narrative / 75 mins) An experimental Science Fiction re-telling of the Asian legends of the Monkey King, with an international cast and a live improvised soundtrack. Made in Ireland, Egypt, Japan and China. A Russian Fairytale (Documentary / 55 mins) A Russian Fairytale is a character-driven documentary following teenagers living on the streets of Perm, Russia. They are the generation of Russian children who turned to each other to make a new family on the streets, away from the abuse they faced at home after the collapse of the USSR. Sayang Disayang (Narrative / 77 mins) Live-in nurse Murni works for Pak Harun, a lonely and bitter elderly man who continually harangues his caregiver. Murni tries to cook a Sambal Goreng dish that is exactly like the one cooked by Haruns late wife but success seems to elude her.
