Updates on UBSRC Presidents Case This serves to inform you that the case between Jacob Jacques Kelebeng(myself) and University of Botswana is now before the Botswana Hight Court,and the University has been given up until the 31st of October 2014 to respond to the papers they have been served with. In such regards,the University is required to oppose or agree. It has come clear that the university took decisions without considerations of critical aspects of the matter,therefore exposing loopholes in their dealings more so with the Department of Tertiary Education and Financing(DTEF). The decision to remove myself as the SRC President will result in the withdrawal of sponsorship for all students currently doing less than 15 credits and retakes as DTEF sponsors students who are undertaking full time programmes. Such students are regarded as full time students. There is no how one can be part time under a full time programme. So this case will be an eye opener to many,including ignorant Directors hired by UB..Unless such people are agents of the BDP led government who are there to sabotage the SRC progress,and also to destabilize UDC,the only relevent and reliable movement which provides robust and bold representation.
