Urgent Message There is currently a major fault on the JHQ telephone number Mil: 94872 2194 / 02161 472 2194 which is listed on the reverse of some of the Green and Blue Civilian Identity Cards. Green cards are issued to entitled civilian heads of household whilst Blue cards are issued to entitled civilian and military dependants. The number is used by card holders if they are unexpectedly admitted to non designated provider medical facilities and they need HQ BFG to verify their entitlement to treatment which will be funded by MoD via BFGHS. The same number is also shown on the reverse of the white Compassionate Cards provided to MoD Civil Servants and School Teachers to call when they require assistance from HQ BFG G1 Cas Comp with compassionate travel. The number has been temporarily diverted to the new G1 Cas Comp office since the relocation of HQ BFG to Bielefeld and will remain diverted until August 2014 to allow sufficient time for the large task of issuing replacement identity and compassionate cards. Engineers are trying to resolve the issue, in the meantime any individual who experiences difficulty contacting the HQ BFG G1 Cas Comp or Staff Duty Officer should use the following alternative number: 0173 887 3908
