Average means that Sugar will do well in just about any home, and her owner surrender notes back this up. Brought to the shelter by someone who was evicted, that person had only good things to say about Sugar. So, why the consternation with her rating? Because all too often, those AVERAGE-rated dogs are hitting the euth table because the dogs with more compelling stories---very old, very sick, very much behavioral challenges---are the ones making it out. Nothing against those dogs, because every dog needs a home....but the fact is, too many people just assume the good dog wont go down. And then, the good dog goes down. Sugar is a good dog with a mundane history and a date with death tomorrow. Do not let her down. Please work hard to save her life, tonight.
