Us South Africans are 100% justifiably very hard on our countrys - TopicsExpress

Us South Africans are 100% justifiably very hard on our countrys leadership. We, as active citizens, must criticize and condemn the wrongs that we see and bring corruption etc to light. That is all of our civic responsibility. But, right now there are enormous political battles being waged which are making things look worse than they actually are. (EFF looking for - and finding - political space, DA trying to grow into their big boy pants and take metros, ANC trying to move centre and away from far left (and how does the ANC deal with the Zuma cabal?), new labour formation starting up via NUMSA etc etc ... ) So we have very exciting politics - and whilst theyre all scrapping for political ground, service delivery STILL doesnt happen on the ground) Much political dirty laundry is being aired and it is just going to get worse over the next while (or more exciting - depends on your view :) )... so brace yourselves for an exciting ride. Many journalists and analysts are therefore busy writing South Africas epitaph and are simply condemning us to banana republic status or worse. (they have been doing this for years already but they just keep changing our Date of death ) This appeals to many peoples fears and makes those whove been predicting our failure for decades already, say I told you so.... But I am absolutely confident that within 18 months to 3 years we will have a dramatically different political and economic landscape and the view will be very different to what we are seeing now... So take a deep breath and relax South Africa, the sky has not fallen down... This is a special place with special people and God most certainly has a plan for us!! Just my 5 cents for this Thursday morning!!
