Us being positive about this hell. Medically this has been devastating and it makes me cry. Sarcoidosis is not treated appropriately. This week alone the pain has been so bad in my bones and my lymph nodes are swelling and are so sore. I was in a hospital overnight and given a total of 8 mg of morphine and like ten other meds and set for admissiom till a new hospitalist showed up and said nah.. I am canceling the admission to let pulmonology admit in two days. Pulmonologist says I wont treat but only your respiratory Sarcoidosis so now I gotta look for a Sarcoidosis specialist...I still owe 50,000 from med school. If I go back and finish med school..I will change my certifications from... Megan Whitacre Ridenour MT,ASCP, CLS, BS..... TO... MEGAN RIDENOUR M.D.;) And I will ONLY see patients with rare crazy ass shit to keep patients with diseases such as ALS living by proper diagnosis. I have saw a good man die because the docs just didnt care and it lit a fire. To see a father of three with a love of 26 years by him on that couch sleeping still haunts me. I wish I could have helped him more..I am smart enough to solve medical puzzles like House ;)
