Using Stories to Explode Your Sales [Part 1] The Star, Story, Solution Formula... One of the most effective ways to communicate your sales message is to use real life stories. And one of the very best ways to tell stories is via the Star, Story, Solution formula. Example: Several years ago I got a copy of the best-performing infomercial in all of the USA for that specific year. The infomercial was selling Skin Cream. Now, I have to admit this, the Americans really know how to do infomercials. Heck THEY INVENTED THEM and have some of the best direct response marketers in the entire world working on them. But over and over again they use this simple formula: 1.THE STAR: Meet Sally - she has battled with poor skin for years. Sally you told me earlier that you tried just about everything under the sun but nothing ever seemed to work for you! And then a friend told you about [Product Name]. Sally what happened then? 2. THE STORY: Yes peggy that is right. Ever since I hit puberty I have had TERRIBLE looking skin. I used to cry myself to sleep at night. I spent a small fortune trying dozens of different brands but more often than not they made my skin worse! And then a friend of mine bought me some [Product Name] for my Birthday. To be honest, I was very skeptical but I decided to try it - more to please her than anything 3. THE SOLUTION: I was utterly amazed. Not only did it not hurt or burn my skin like so many other brands had, within 7 days all my friends and family started complementing me on my beautiful skin! I am 35 years old and I have never in my life had anyone say that! I just dont have words good enough to say what a difference [Product Name] has made in my life! Camera goes to the call to action...
