Usually I am not one to post a status as I would rather read yours. However, I want to share a random conversation I had with a stranger in Walmarts parking lot this morning. After parking my husband came around to open the truck door for me as he always does. As we were walking toward the door we heard this.... Woman: Excuse me, excuse me, may I ask yall a question? Me: (looking puzzled) Sure. Woman: I notice he open the door for you. Do he always do that? Me: Yes he does. Woman: Oh...see I just met this man and he do that and I get mad at him when he do it. Me: Stop getting mad & enjoy it! Woman: (sounding surprised) Ohhh so thats ok! Me: (to myself) Daahhhhh! King & I looked at each other & smiled. We often hear little comments about his opening doors for me but this kind of reaction was a first. Ladies, allow your husband/significant other to treat you like a lady and enjoy it. It does not mean that youre helpless or lazy; it means that he respects you and honors you in your position as the lady in his life!
