Fu**ing cancer is taking far too many good people, its got to stop. We have a fantastic health service in this country which when we need it most its brilliant. What we dont have is early enough detection of diseases. So if youre in any doubt about any health problem, insist your gp sends you for further testing. My gp didnt, they ignored the ridiculously obvious signs for many years, which is why I was in advanced stage cancer by the time they finally sent me for further tests. Not a day goes past that I dont appreciate how lucky I am to still be here. Always get them to check ,check and double check. Listen to your body not your gp.
