Utu is a powerful word of Maori here in New Zealand. It means revenge or pay-back. It is easy to chase down the villian and bring them before the world, but what we forget is their families, friends and people who sometimes have no idea of the wrong doings or fail to see them and when we do bring justic before their peers, we hurt a lot of people, we shame them. To have freedom we are going to hurt people but there is no other way. Freedom of speech is our most important rule of life and everyone must be heard and if there is abuse of power then we must have UTU. Jim Wright Gisborne New Zealand
