Uve just gone to one interview and failed, but u already want to give up. Uve just gotten results from a doctor that u are HIV positive and now u want to die. Uve been dumped twice or thrice and already u dont want a man anymore. Someone refused to give u a lift to church and now u dont even want to go to church anymore The world speaks through situations everyday, but u need to switch off from it and switch on to God, like that Canaanite who wanted her Child to get cured. This woman knew what she wanted from Christ, she wanted her daughter to be delivered from evil spirits and was not about to let anything stop her from getting what she wanted. This woman came crying and begging to Christ, but Jesus ignored her, but she never gave up. U and I cant even cry to God bcos we will mess up our makeup, we go to God composed and minding what ppl will say, what if someone hears my prayer? Who cares? We say A woman or man of my calibre/stature cant be seen crying or shouting to God for help, what will my neighbours, subordinates or boss say? How badly do u want what u want from God? Are u going to let something stand in ur way or stop u from getting what u want? The disciples begged Jesus to chase that woman away bcos she was making noise and distracting them, but she persisted. Jesus then said to her, I was Only sent for the Israelites, but she ignored that and knelt and worshiped Him even after such an answer. Jesus then said to her I cant give food to dogs, called her a dog but she never gave up, but she said even small dogs eat crumbs from the Masters table. If it were u or I Tjoo, wed never hear the end of it,,,, Wed say, that pastor, that usher insulted me, Im never going there anymore. Be determined on what u want and dont let anything stop u from getting what u want, dont let transport stop u, ppls words stop u, go for what u want and u will get it. How badly do u want it? This woman worshiped a man who was insulting her without a care bcos she knew what she wanted. She didnt let insults stop her from getting what she wanted. She overlooked everything else. Are u willing to overlook insults, criticism, gossip, ill treatment and focus on what u want? How badly do u want it?
