It was not even the Romans that were after him. Did Jesus Christ commit suicide as a way of waking up the people? Did he want to be a martyr? In simple terms Pontius Pilate asked Jesus Christ if he was “King of the Jews”. All Jesus Christ had to say was “No”. History states that Pontius Pilate did not want to find Jesus Christ guilty. In fact he gave Jesus Christ a way out but he refused to take it. Is it not suicide when you have an opportunity to save your life but chose not to? Was the suicide to be a grand jester? Jesus Christ was not young for the time period. One of his disciples, Judas, turned him in. maybe Jesus Christ realized that he was not doing any good. The Jews did not rise up to save him. History and 20/20 hindsight show that the suicide was a failure and had no lasting positive effect on mankind. Conclusion. Regardless if it was a murder (crucifixion) or a suicide it did not work. It has been over 2000 years and mankind is in the worst shape in history. Suicides do not do anyone any good.
