VC Assures FUK Community of Banking Services The University community, particularly, students have been assured of banking services on campus. This was disclosed by the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mohammed Kabiru Farouk when answering questions from students at the new students orientation exercise held recently. He said that the University Management was concerned about it and was negotiating with three Banks that would set up ATM machines on Campus so that students could do their financial transactions without going to Gombe. The Vice-Chancellor also disclosed that there were University buses that could be used by students to go on field trips and other approved activities that are related to either academic activities or other co-curricular activities. Prof. Farouk said that the Management also pays attention to character development of student’s right from the beginning. He therefore advised students to be of good conduct both inside the classroom and outside and off- campus which he said should be measured and considered in making the determination that the students have met all the requirements for the degree for which they have studied before the degree is awarded and certificate issued.
