VERY important message for Keller ISD and Fort Worth ISD parents. Possible attempted kidnappings: The first incident occurred last week on May 13th. Keller ISD: A student at Caprock Elementary was approached by a stranger while walking home from school at Hollow Valley and Timberland Blvd. The man slowed down and told the child that his mom was sick and that he should get in the car with him. The child ran from the car and the car did not follow him. The alleged abductor was described as a white male in his twenties driving a black or blue truck. The second incident occurred today. From a FWPD officer on NextDoor site: Today at about 4pm near Woodland Springs Elementary, there was another incident involving a female child that was confronted by a white male possibly in his 30’s with short brown hair, medium build. The victim said that the suspect was parked along the curb near Woodland Springs Dr on Netleaf Ln in a red single cab Ford pickup (no significant decals or markings). The suspect was seated in the driver seat and had the passenger door open for the victim. The victim stated that the suspect used a similar dialog as the incident last week, “You need to come with me so I can take you to your mother; who is in the hospital.” The victim did notice a tattoo around the suspect’s right bicep that appeared to have small crosses inside circles that wrapped the bicep. Last weeks incident was a dark blue or black Nissan Titan pickup, and basically the same physical description. Our Major Crimes office as been assigned the previous case and has been made aware of this incident, also. ***Please report any suspicious activity to the Fort Worth Police Dept. at 817-335-4222 or 911.*** *SHARE*
