VETERANS: If your MOS was in Aircraft Mechanics and you live in the Ft. Drum area, L-3 Communications is hiring: Experience: Must have documented experience on T700/T53-714 Series military engines. Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience in teardown, inspection, analysis, rebuild and troubleshooting of these turbine engines. Must be able to work unsupervised on their own. Must be able to work with the ULLS-A(E) PMLIS computer system and have a working knowledge of the MS Office suite applications. Qualification: Completion of Military Technical Training or comparable Civilian Trade School is desired. A Power plant license may be required for non-military aircraft. An A&P license will be considered equivalent to three (3) experience. Must have own Tools. Must have special tools in possession upon arrival for work and be in serviceable condition Certification: Must be certified to perform tasks specified in L-3 Vertex Contract Field Team Standard Operating Procedures Manual, if required to perform those tasks.
