State Street In Chicago @ 9:30pm 17+ show Legendary guitarist Allan Holdsworth returns to Chicago for a pair of shows. As always, Holdsworth surrounds himself with only the finest sidemen. This time around, drummer Gary Husband and bassist Jimmy Haslip round out the band. In the past, Holdsworth has worked with drummers including Tony Williams, Chad Wackerman, Bill Bruford and Virgil Donati. See for yourself why the great Eddie Van Halen considers Holdsworth to be the greatest guitarist of all time. Gary Husband was trained as a classical pianist but is also known as one of the worlds most highly respected drummers. Essentially a self-taught drummer, Gary has been playing both piano and drums professionally since the age of 13. He is a member of John McLaughlins group The 4th Dimension and has performed or recorded with Allan Holdsworth, Jeff Beck, Robin Trower, Jack Bruce, Level 42, Nguyên Lê, Randy Brecker, Al Jarreau, Hessischer Rundfunk Big Band, Sir George Martin, Quincy Jones, Andy Summers, Gary Moore, Mike Stern, and Billy Cobham among a great many others.
