VIDEO REVIEW Here you go with a video review for #StaringAtTheSun Hunter and Shapeshifters Battle It Out on Staring at the Sun, the New Music Video by Anastacia! If someone knows how to celebrate a birthday, that someone is Anastacia. While we, mere mortals, use to bake a cake and call some friends to clearly get a bunch of gifts, the songwriter and singer gets here and bam, gifts her fans with the release of the music video for her newest single. After shredding apart with the ironically destructive Stupid Little Things, the singer decided to slow it down and release the softer song, but not less powerful, Staring at the Sun, opening track from Resurrection, her sixth studio album, released last May by Sanctuary/BMG. Composed by Louis Biancaniello, Marley Munroe and Sam Watters (Im Outta Love, One Day in Your Life), the track, besides coming out as the second official single from the album, has the important mission of promoting the Resurrection Tour, which counts with 15 confirmed dates in whole Europe, kicking off on the upcoming October 19th in Belgium. In the video (resembling Titanium by David Guetta, photographically speaking), Anastacia tells a story of a couple (noticeably a gorgeous one), victim of a chasing by a hunter. This chase happens because they have in their hands an amulet that allows them to physically transform between the human and animal forms (as a kind of shapeshifter). While I was writing this post I watched the video a bunch of times and came with many reasons of why the hunter was on the hunt for this amulet, since with it in his hands he could: 1. Have the ability to physically transform into an animal form; 2. Shapeshift his own dog to human form (maybe the pet was some special, like his wife or son); 3. Sell and buy cattle (the crisis is here for everybody, ah!). Anyway, there are a thousand possibilities of outcome and prologue to this story. I just hope it didnt end already and I hope we still have the chance to see more of it in the near future, okay Mrs. Anastacia?
