*************VILLAGE CORE VALUES************** 1. ENCOUNTERING GOD - We believe it is biblical to desire and pursue an encounter with God. We are totally unashamed of the Gifts, Demonstration, and Manifestations of the Holy Spirit. 2.RADICAL FAITH - We will not embrace a lifestyle that falls short of the fullness of the stature of the measure of Christ earth walk. (1 John 4:17) In order to transform a city with the gospel of Jesus, we can’t think small. We will set impossible goals, take bold steps of faith and watch God move. 3. WE ARE A GENERATION OF HONOR – We freely give honor to those above us, beside us, and under us because of the calling and potential God has placed inside of them. 4.WE ARE ALL ABOUT THE NUMBERS – to live in encounter and not Teach, Heal and minister to the multitudes is to fall short of Jesus earth walk. All revelation requires activation. 4. WE ARE UNITED UNDER ONE VISION – Village is built on the vision God gave the set ministry. We will aggressively defend our unity and that vision. 5. EQUIP THE SAINTS- The Village Church model is multiplicity of ministry and the ministry of the saints. We do that through the five fold ministry equipping the saints for the work. We do not believe in holding people back nor do we believe in releasing them premature without training. We believe it is primarily the Saints not the Five-Fold that will encounter our city! 6. WIN THE WORLD - We have a Global Vision, a Village can win a city, region, and the World. 7. LOVE/GRACE HAS PRIORITY - We believe it is more important to LOVE than to be RIGHT. We will carry NO political message to our city other than the Kingdom. It is Love that will draw the multitudes to our message. We equip people in the Love of God through the Finish Work. 8. VICTORIOUS VIEW OF ALL THINGS - (Adapted from Kris Vallotton) I will not embrace an end-time worldview that re-empowers a disempowered devil.I will not accept an eschatology that takes away my children’s future, and creates mindsets that undermine the mentality of leaving a legacy.I will not tolerate any theology that sabotages the clear command of Jesus to make disciples of all nations, and the Lord’s Prayer that earth would be like heaven.I will not allow any interpretation of the scriptures that destroys hope for the nations and undermines our command to restore ruined cities.I will not embrace an eschatology that changes the nature of a good God.I refuse to embrace any mindset that celebrates bad news as a sign of the times and a necessary requirement for the return of Jesus.I am opposed to any doctrinal position that pushes the promises of God into a time zone that can’t be obtained in my generation and therefore takes away any responsibility I have to believe God for them in my lifetime.I don’t believe that the last days are a time of judgment, nor do I believe God gave the church the right to call for wrath for sinful cities. There is a day of judgment in which GOD will judge man, not us.
