VITAMINS FOR THE MIND by Ron Reynolds #3604 (Monday, July 28, 2014) Power to Start ‘Getting started’ in AdvoCare means a lot more than merely registering as a Distributor, or taking a leap of faith by choosing to start as an Advisor; both of those acts are, in and of themselves, an administrative formality. The question really is, at what point are you going to thrust yourself into the process of talking to people about the products, about the business opportunity, about debt freedom and about having a person get actively involved in becoming proactive in taking back greater control of their life? ‘Life’ is a serious business; if you mess it up somewhere in the first half of your life, you’re going to have to scramble to play catch up in the last half, and that’s not all that easy; I know that lots of people who aren’t doing well have themselves convinced that they’re still young, and that they have “lots of time,” but they don’t! They may have ‘lots of time remaining to ‘live’ but the second half of one’s life finds us operating on reduced capacity – reduced vigor, reduced stamina, reduced imagination, and reduced desire to treat things seriously, and that’s because the ‘last half’ of our life finds us functioning on habits we’ve developed in the first half. Now, think about something; if a person ‘really got serious’ about AdvoCare, it seems fair to say they could get to Gold 3-Star before too much time passes, and the average income of all those who are Gold 3-Star is about $40,000; lots of people have done that within their first year, but only those who have the power to make a serious start, the power to remain focused and determined when you’ve been rejected repeatedly, and often by people who you were convinced would be a ‘perfect fit’ for our opportunity. If you have the work ethic – even though you’re still part-time – to become a Gold 3-Star, by repeating the disciplines that made that possible, you can reach Ruby 6-Star; what you did once, you can do again, and since you did it once, chances are you’ve improved your skills and your understanding of how the Success System works. From 6-Star, you can once again repeat the process of helping to build three more ‘Star Legs’ from your growing team of contributing leg Advisors, and by doing so, you can reach Emerald 9-Star. And finally – and by continuing to build other people to their level of success – you could reach the Diamond position. In essence, doing well in AdvoCare by building your income a day, a week, a month, a year and several years at a time, you really can create a significant Plan B income; and, in doing so, you can become debt free, you can begin earning interest through investments rather than paying interest on debt, and a whole new life and lifestyle can emerge for you and for your family. But be careful; some people reach a fairly early level of comfort and mistake the ‘trinket status’ that comes with their early success and they miss the treasure of remaining involved. Whatever you choose, it’s your choice; you could, of course, do nothing. You could sit back, keep your job, struggle with making ends meet and simply hope that because you’re a ‘good person,’ everything will work out. Again, it’s your choice.
