VMC minima for Control Zone 1) When the ceiling of clouds is more than 1500 ft 2) When the ground Visibility is more than 5 Km Exemption: Special VFR flight. At an aerodrome within Control Zone when the Ground Visibility is less than 5 Km or if the ceiling is less than 1500 ft, a VFR flight during day may land or take off from such an aerodrome or enter the traffic zone of such an aerodrome provided ATC clearance is obtained from appropriate ATC unit. Such clearance may be given provided only one aircraft or formation of aircraft at a time, is cleared and for specified period, during which no other known traffic is operating or expected to operate in the Aerodrome Traffic Zone. B) A VFR flight below FL150 during day, may be authorized to enter a Control Zone and land or take off and depart directly from a control zone in IMC provided only one aircraft or formation of aircraft at a time is authorized and for a specified during which no other known traffic is operating or expected to operate in the Control Zone
