VMX WHITSUNDAY CLASSIC Vintage Motocross Ride Day Happy Valley Creek, via Proserpine, SUNDAY 18th August 2013 VMX Whitsunday Inc. is holding a practice/ride day at Happy Valley Creek. The day is open to anyone aged 16 years or over with a Pre 1985 Dirt Bike or 35 years and over on post 85 Bikes. No under 16 year olds are permitted to ride. The track is a vintage friendly natural terrain circuit and is located at Happy Valley Creek, via Proserpine (there will be ample signage). This event is Motorcycling Queensland (M.Q.) sanctioned and as such all riders must have appropriate riding gear and a current M.Q. licence or purchase a one event licence on the day ($25). You also need to be a member of an M.Q. affiliated club or you can join VMX Whitsunday Inc (cost is $30). Nomination fee is $30 and you can ride all day. NOTE – NO CAMPING AT HAPPY VALLEY (The Track) BECAUSE OF FIRE RISK IN THE AREA. Nominations from 7.30 am ish at the track. Riders briefing at 8.45 am.
