*** VSC BREAKING NEWS - BERING SEA *** *** MOST INTENSE STORM EVER IN AREA *** #weather #russia #alaska Just a week ago Super Typhoon Nuri was tearing through the west Pacific but now, it has become the most powerful storm to ever hit the region in the Bering Sea which lies between Russia and Alaska. At 924hPa, the storm is even more intense than Hurricane Sandy which smashed 7 countries back in 2012 and eclipses the previous record held in 1977 of 925hPa! Waves up to 45 feet (13 metres) high are expected and due to the size of this system, its being felt hundreds of miles away.
