Vacancy Announcement HR/Admin Officer (Replacement during Maternity) Save the Children is the leading independent organization creating lasting change in the lives of children in need around the world. Save the Children has been working in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (oPt) since 1973 and is recognized for its commitment to accountability, innovation and collaboration. Save the Children currently implements programs in Child Protection, Education, Health, and Livelihoods throughout the West Bank and Gaza. Save the Children is seeking qualified candidates to fulfill the position of HR/Admin Officer to be based at its Gaza Office. The post holder will be responsible for facilitating recruitment and placement processes, maintaining document and personnel files, and coordinating with all programs and departments on HR work, and ensuring appropriate personnel filing at the field offices with highest confidentiality. Start Date: September 1st 2014 End Date: January 31st 2015 S/he reports to the Gaza Operations Senior Manager. Requirements: -A Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of experience in a managerial position. (Certificate course in Personnel Management will be highly preferred). -Strong Communication and interpersonal skills. -Ability to manage a complex and diverse workload within tight deadlines. -Written and verbal fluency in English and Arabic skills.
