Valley Head High School Band Flashback: 1990, at the DeKalb County Marching Festival, hosted by Geraldine High School. The band marched onto the field with 25 horns, 7 drumline, 1 majorette, 6 color guard, and the drum major on the podium, for a grand total of 40 band members at VHHS. Their show in 1990 featured Spania!, Sweet Georgia Brown, and Wind Beneath My Wings. The band director at this point in time for Valley Head High School was Mr. Campbell Smith.
