Valley Health – Gallipolis Ferry will host an open house and health fair called Wellness Wednesday on June 12, and community members of all ages are welcome. . As a means of showing its support for the health and well-being of the community, Valley Health – Gallipolis Ferry will offer a variety of free screenings and activities on Wellness Wednesday between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. that include blood pressure checks, BMI screenings, dental screenings, plus more. Lunch that includes hot dogs and chips will be served between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Free toothbrushes, toothpaste and other giveaway items will be made available while supplies last. Activities, including a coloring contest, will be offered for children and a host of information about preventive care will be shared. Door prizes will be raffled as well.
