Yasin Malik said that JKLF has created history by conducting transparent and fair party elections and we all are proud of those who conducted this process successfully, according to Valley Media Service. While commenting upon the recent statements of Indian foreign minister and Home Minister in which they had opposed third party mediation on Kashmir issue, Yasin Malik said that Jammu Kashmir issue is a living reality and this is an Undeniable fact that this issue is the root cause of every tension between India and Pakistan and because of this issue and dispute Kashmiri’s have lost three generations. He said that the fact of the matter is that India, Pakistan and also the international community have failed to solve this dispute till date. India and Pakistan talked bilaterally, Pakistan and Kashmiri talked bilateral, India and Kashmiri’s did the same bilateralism, but these bilateral talks and processes have failed to achieve anything during last 65 years. He said that this continued failure requires some new measures and Demands changes in behaviors and attitudes. Yasin Malik said that this is why we all believe that international community has to come and support and push India and Pakistan and try to solve Jammu Kashmir issue peacefully. Yasin Malik said that today Indian ministers who belong to congress party oppose outside intervention but one could ask them that if this was such untouchable thing why did the founder of congress and first prime minister of India Jawahar lal Nehru chose to take this issue to united nations. One could ask them that why did India seek support of Security Council members in 1992 when JKLF chief Aman ullah khan announced to cross the ceasefire line that divides Kashmir. Why India did welcomed American intervention on Kargil, if it hates outside intervention so much. Yasin Malik said that India cannot take selective support of international community. Indian leaders will have to and should accept this reality that without solving Kashmir issue and dispute in accordance with the wishes and aspirations and active participation of Kashmiri’s no durable peace, stability and progress is possible. Yasin Malik hoped that wisdom and statesmanship will prevail and India, Pakistan and international community will accept and realize the need of solving Kashmir on priority basis to ensure durable peace and prosperity of the whole world. At the end of the function election commissioners Administered oath from newly elected officials. It is worth to mention that zonal executive council, working committee and general council are in the process of formation and the names of members for these bodies will also be announced soon.
