Vegan seed planted by our good friend LiLi PoisonIvy: Lilis words: Eddie, at work i am known as the vegan girl. Today a female staff member approached me. She asked me what made me turn vegan. I told her about my story. All about how I has always had a love and respect for Animals...... But that I was unaware and uneducated about the horrors that I was supporting...... Everytime I ate meat/dairy. I spoke about slavery, about rape, about discrimination, about how the media brainwashed us. I spoke about traditions, religion. I spoke about mothers and babies...... And how the bond is broken. I spoke about the horrors of factory farming. The kidnapping, abuse, mutilation, and final murder. I also spoke about health..... And what we are really putting in our bodies every time we devour the flesh of another. Well......... An hour later this staff member looked at me and said you have planted a seed in me. The next time I work will be on Tuesday. Can I meet with you to discuss where I begin in this journey to live vegan? .......... I wanted to cry. But I kept my cool. I will be meeting with her Tuesday morning and giving her some literature..... And recommending she watches a few documentaries. After a terrible work week............ This made it alllllllllllll good. Words cannot express how happy I feel right now. We are one. Another seed planted!
