Vera Gornostaeva has done it again! Her marvelous artistry and compelling personality has helped WFMT reach their most ambitious goal of over $1Million in pledges and over 5000 copies of her discs have been requested as thank-you gifts!!! Thank you so much to WFMT and of course to Ms. Gornostaeva for reminding us that TRULY GREAT PERFORMANCES will forever resonate with listeners and that what Vassily Primakov and I are trying to do at LP Classics is relevant and important :)!!! Artists often have to rely on their own intuition, passion and perseverance, but its so essential to be validated and appreciated! Thank you to every listener that called WFMT - along with helping an amazing radio station, you are also helping LP Classics, its co-presidents and every artist that works with us. And we cant even fully comprehend what this new audience has meant to Ms. Gornostaeva herself. To us, that is worth so much more then anything you can ever imagine :)
