Vera and I spent the last week in beautiful Kauai. We had a great time, and enjoyed warm, pleasant weather. We were able to swim below stunning waterfalls, kayaked up a river, snorkeled around reefs filled with fish of every color and possible shape, boat through sea caves, tour the island in a small airplane and more. We had memorable meals, and took in the lush, green island. It was a wonderful and unforgettable time. Of course, when we arrived home last night it was not only cold, but turned cloudy and drizzly today. No shorts and sandals here in Oakland.
