★★★Version 2.0 Patch Notes (Android only)★★★ We are pleased to announce that the Almighty Update is now live, officially upgrading Guardian Cross to version 2.0. Please see the patch notes below for a complete list of changes and additions to the game. ★★★ Sidequests Added ★★★ An adorable new barkeep has opened an establishment in Northern Cross, and patrons from all over are coming to find Guardian tamers willing to take on daring quests. Head out with rifle in hand for hunt quests where you are charged with capturing a certain number of various Guardians, or delve into the unknown on dungeon quests where you must brave ruins and towers and defeat whatever bosses await. * Players must clear the mission in the Sanbelard Castle Town before sidequests become available. First undertake a sidequest from the taskboard at the inn. You may undertake up to one hunt quest and one dungeon quest at a time. If you wish to undertake a different sidequest, simply abandon your current one then accept a new one. These sidequests send you out to the hunting grounds with rifle in hand to complete such tasks as capturing a special Guardian, or attempting to take down a certain number of Guardians on a single outing. Delve into the depths of the new Labyrinth dungeon, located in the northwest of the world map, and discover what enemies and treasures await you! In addition to item rewards, completing sidequests will also earn you Honor. Earning a certain amount of Honor will cause your Renown to increase, which in turn unlocks even more sidequests. You can replay any sidequest you have cleared at any time. Clearing a sidequest again will yield different rewards, but will not grant any Honor. ◆The Labyrinth Undertaking a dungeon quest as described above grants players access to a new cave found in the northwest of Northern Cross. The layout of this maze-like dungeon is randomly generated each time you enter. The Labyrinth contains a variety of wild Guardians, traps, and more! Be sure to keep an eye out for special floors littered with treasure chests! ◆Comeback Campaign Version 2.0 marks the launch of the Comeback Campaign, which gives players who have not logged in since May 27 a chance to earn five special hunt tickets and ten recovery elixirs just for coming back! Players who return using a friends invitation code will earn an additional reward of five Gold Slimes, and the friend whose code is used will receive a special hunt ticket. Have 15 friends come back to Guardian Cross using your invitation code to receive a Ragnarok card! Have another ten friends come back using your code and receive another! * We havent forgotten our loyal Guardian Masters! All players who have logged in at any time after May 27, 2014, will receive one of all six kinds of magic stones (III) for continuing to play. ◆Night Hunts A new nighttime hunt mode has been added and is unlocked at level 20. Nighttime hunting grounds contain different Guardians from their daytime counterparts. With the release of version 2.0, the Berneside Plains (Night) hunting ground is now available for play. ◆New Guardians A total of 37 new Guardians have been added, including several with a rarity of 5★. ◆New Abilities The following four new Guardian abilities have been added: Phantom Gear - Mecha +4 attack ability. Deadly Reflex - Delivers a counter after being attacked. Full Barrier - Blocks attacks of all attributes. Mind Rift - Chance to confuse opponent. When successful, grants additional chance to cause opponent to attack self. ◆New Login Rewards Login rewards will now change on a monthly basis. Rewards will only be offered up to 3 days for the remainder of this month, but will extend to a 30-day login sheet beginning next month. Rewards will increase in value as it becomes later in the month. ◆New Music A new main theme song and dungeon background music track have been added. ◆Top Page The layout of the Top Page and new information posts has been redesigned. ◆Config The Config menu has been moved to within the Record screen. ◆Bug Fixes Several other minor bug fixes have been implemented. ◆Fast Rendering A new check-box for fast rendering has been added to the start screen. Enabling it may improve graphic processing speeds. * This feature can cause errors on certain devices. Please disable fast rendering if this happens. * Only available on devices running Android 4.0 or later. ◆Password Display A players password can now be checked from the start screen. * Uninstalling the app once will make it impossible to retrieve a previous password.
