Very interesting! !!. Our US Senator Dick Durbin recently voted FOR the UN Gun Ban treaty. I called the Washington office and asked why he did so. I also warned the young lady who I spoke with not to give me any political talking points crap. She stated the senator voted for the treaty on national security grounds. When I asked her what that meant, she could not give me a response. I told her to tell Durbin chief of staff that it is clear that Durbin in more beholden to his political party and to Obama than his constitute. Further there will come a day when Durbin faces an opponent for his seat that will overcome him. At least Mark Kirk voted against the treaty. He knew better. Interesting for my family and friends in NJ, both US senators voted for the treaty. So you folks have some work to do.
