Very special night at the AFL Cape York House graduation ceremony where six young men were recognised for completing their year 12 studies. Four of them are off to university, an achievement virtually unthinkable before they were enrolled at the House. Education is the key to the long talked about goal of closing the gap, and AFL Cape York House is helping young people from remote communities achieve their dreams. Well done to the students, their families, teachers and staff, and to Rick Hanlon for his vision and drive. Thank you also to Rydges Tradewinds for sponsoring tonights wonderful event.
