A volunteer writes: This very friendly guy will greet you in front of the cage seeking your attention, rubbing against the cage signaling you to come to him and pet him. Seeing his smoke gray color and handsome face you cant resist loving this fellow. He wants to go home with you to start his new life and be your very best buddy. Another volunteer writes: Charles is not at all a formal cat, as his name would suggest. Hes an older, mature cat with a marvelous-or should I say mah-velous-personality. No, hes more like a Charlie, the kind of kitty you could have a nice chat with if you met him on the street on a fall day. Hed be wearing a baseball cap, and he would ask, how ya been, hows the wife, what are the kids up to? Charles is the kind of cat that you could hug, snuggle with or just sit and pet for a while. He doesnt seem to need much more than that. He would just settle for being a nice pal to his human buddies.
