When the genocidal practices on Indigenous Peoples continue in light of: The continued abuses on residential school survivors after the apology, when there is still a human rights tribunal for our children in care, when the latest report on Missing and Murdered Women was thrown on the floor in parliament most recently, when the suite of legislation - termination plan is still threatening our peoples, after the FNEA has been held to carry on after being rejected by the majority of our peoples, the list is endless. Is this all too surreal? There is no true reconciliation to be had in the consciousness of canadians until the true reconciliation of Indigenous Peoples has been experienced. Stand strong...the world will be watching.
