Vickers Viscount Network Australian researcher Allan Taylor has sent in this message;- Ive taken a bit of an interest in helping out with the VH-TVL reconstruction. The people who are doing it are not computer-literate nor do they even own a computer, but they have friends who do. That they have achieved what they have is nothing short of magnificent. I wasnt in favour initially but I have been more than won over by the great job they have done. So, Ive decided to help wherever I can and will be visiting VH-TVL just after Xmas. By the sounds of it, the cockpit has been vandalized over the years and I am guessing at this stage needs as many instruments as possible. They would like to have the cockpit displayed as original and complete as possible. At this early stage, could anyone please contact me with whatever cockpit instruments you may have available along with the price, or alternately your knowledge of where they may be acquired. I will do a full photographic record in January when I visit so we know exactly what is required. Cheers Allan from Oz Photos by Peter Ranson were taken at Possum Park, 20 KM from Miles, Queensland, Australia in October 2014. If you can help please contact us by Facebook, Twitter or email. Your help will be really appreciated with this important historical project.
