Vicki, I have partnered with a former Police Officer in NSW who has been fighting the NSW Government, Police System and Insurance System, for Compensation for the past 24 years. The only reason the Man is still alive, is because he has a Beautiful Supportive wife and two gorgeous children. Apparently hundreds of Police Officers are committing suicide Every Year, due to PTSD, although it is never reported in the News or highlighted by the NSW Police Department. I am starting to question why anyone would do this to themselves if they have the Love and Support of Work Colleagues, Family, Employer etc, etc. Any one of these could of course give the Man a reason to Live. Its so sad, listening to the Grief of these Widows and Children and Somehow as a Community we need to Stop it from Happening. Sometimes, I believe all it takes is LOVE, Understanding and Commitment from your immediate family to prevent this from happening.
