Weather Situation A weakening low pressure system over Bass Strait will drift eastwards to lie just east of Bass Strait on Sunday then move slowly away over the Tasman Sea on Monday. A narrow high pressure ridge will reach western Victoria on Sunday night and will cross the State during Monday. A cold front will approach western Victoria during Monday but will slide away to the south of the State early on Tuesday.
