Vienna! There is so much to do and so much to see! I decided to visit the Leopold Museum in my remaining time and I was not disappointed. Within the span of a few decades, the physician and collector Rudolf Leopold assembled a collection of more than 5,000 carefully selected artworks. Masterpieces by Gustav Klimt, the world’s largest Egon Schiele collection and key works by Oskar Kokoschka provide fascinating insight into the art of the 20th century. I discovered the artists I did not know about from my favorite art time, the beginning of the 20th century. Here are some examples of the work of Egon Schiele (1890-1918) the subject of my new fascination. I took all these pictures with my phone and it is allowed to take pictures without flash in most places in Austria.
